Architecture before allegiance
Choosing models and platforms from requirements, not defaults.
The strongest AI systems are not defined by one model. They are defined by the architecture, controls, data and evaluation surrounding it.
That means choosing models, platforms and infrastructure based on the system's requirements: accuracy, latency, cost, data sensitivity, deployment environment, tool use, observability, maintainability and vendor risk.
Allegiance to a single stack tends to optimise for the vendor's convenience. Architecture-first optimises for the operation the system has to improve.
