Demonstration system
A retrieval assistant that answers questions from a document set while respecting access permissions and citing its sources.
Organisational knowledge is scattered across documents and tools. Answers are inconsistent, and sensitive material must only surface to people permitted to see it. We built a demonstration to test permission-aware retrieval with source traceability.
Retrieval-augmented generation over an ingested document set, with a permission layer applied before results reach the model, and every answer grounded in cited passages.
Users can inspect the cited sources for every answer; low-confidence responses are flagged for review.
Validated the technical feasibility of permission-aware retrieval with consistent source citation across a mixed document set.
